The Artist’s Experience

I often ask myself "why I draw?"
In fact I do not want to be just a new burden on the world of Art; I wish I could contribute to it, no matter how simple my contribution may be, through my modest and different vision of things. I wish that Art could inspire my soul and bring it into a realm of tranquility and sublimity, far from all earthly things.

I believe when I add the final touches to the painting and demonstrate it to the viewers, it is not any more mine, it becomes theirs; people have a great rule in recreating the Art piece by their interpretation and criticism. I am mostly interested in the ordinary people’s views, in the layman’s taste.

No proof of success more than the shock, the surprise and the invitation to deep contemplation that my paintings create; they augment the power of imagination in the people's minds.

I can say that I have arrived at my themes, however, I should continue to bring up the different and the unusual, at the same time I have to keep developing ideas and techniques.

I acquire my ideas from keen observation of life details, from people’s experiences, and from books; my early intensive readings have provided me with an endless treasure of ideas; I read for philosophers and intellectuals, so as to build up friendship with all existing things, and to shorten far distances.

I have been participated in a number of local and international exhibitions. besides Dubai and Sharjah. I took part in Prestigious art shows in France, Iran, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. In addition, I had six hugely successful solo exhibitions.
